Judge Nardi has served as Judge of the Owen Circuit Court since 1983. He has a B.A. from Indiana University in 1975 and a J.D. from Indiana University in 1979. He is also a grduate of the Indiana Judicial College in 1988. He has served as deputy prosecutor and as a title IV-D attorney for Owen County from 1979 to 1982. He had served as a Board of Director from 1987 to 1994 for the Judicial Conference of Indiana. He is very active in his community serving as a Trustee for Ivy Tech State College, serving on Owen County Family YMCA Board of Directors, and as an elder at the Spencer Presbyterian Church. He is also a Board Member for Owen County Community Corrections. In his spare time, he volunteers for the Owen County Fair Association and for the Big Brother/Big Sister Program.
