2007 in an election year for the Town of Spencer and Town of Gosport. This is an important election, like all of them, and we are working on finding candidates. Each town has a Clerk/Treasurer position and 3 at-large Town Board positions open. Some candidates have filed already. We are somewhat light for Gosport at this time. So, if you are in the Towns of Spencer or Gosport, or know of someone that lives in either town that may make an excellent public official, please let us know. We encourage anyone who has an interest in public service, who is willing to campaign and make an investment in their community, to run. Check out our "Election 2007" page for a list of current candidates. The deadline to file with the Owen County Circuit Court Clerk is August 1, 2007. |
