The Owen County Democrats plan to conduct their quadrennial re-organization meeting on Saturday, March 5th, 10:00am, at the Owen County Democrat Headquarters, 150 East Jefferson Street in Spencer.
Democrat precinct committee officials will meet to elect a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Owen County Democratic Party for four year terms. Any registered voter who is a Democrat must file their candidacy with the current party Secretary, Fred Drescher by 10:00am, Wednesday, February 23rd. Candidacies not filed with the party Secretary or those filed after the deadline will not be accepted in accordance to party rules. All nominations are closed after this deadline.
