We are very glad to have Vern Tincher back in the statehouse representing the 46th District. His District includes sections of Vigo and Clay counties and all of Owen except Harrison Township. Although he and his wife, Linda, make their home in Vigo County, Vern spends more than his fair share of time right here in Owen County. He supports our local firefighters, law enforcement, our schools, and our community. Whether he is campaigning or not, Vern spends time visiting with folks anywhere from Gosport to Coal City and in between. He is dedicated to serving us and is always accessible to talk about issues. Our former State Representative from 2002-2004 had not been seen more than a couple of times in our county. We appreciate all that Vern has done and will do for us once again.
