This past Sunday marked the Owen County Democrats' first ever Democrat Fish Fry. 118 people were counted at the door. We
thank everyone who attended and made this event a great success! We
appreciate everyone's helps on this project. We do have some
specific thanks to mention.

David & Marilyn Hercamp were not only gracious enough to provide the
Icelandic seafood products--they, along with a team of experts,
cooked it all! We cannot give enough thanks to show our
appreciation for their generous contribution to our party. What a
quality selection of seafood products and samples available! The
Democrat Club along with Lois Bixler took care of our sides and food
support.

Pansy White and Joan Fowler co-chaired the support committee that
handled the setup, decorations, volunteers, and teardown. Lowell
Simpson, Donna Kepner, Cindy Hyde, Tony and Victoria Neff, Shannon
Lock, Herbert White, and Paul Fowler assisted with setup and
decorations. There were too many names to list who helped serve
food, clean tables, greet people, and handle tear-down.

We appreciate the efforts of our candidates who showed up for the
event to mingle and meet voters.

Fred Drescher was in charge of designing, printing and distributing
the tickets. We appreciate our sales force of party officials
getting those tickets sold!

We appreciate the Spencer Lion's Club giving us permission to borrow
their deep friers and we thank the Owen County Fair Board for
working with us on special use of two buildings.

This project was a real team effort and we hope we have not left
anyone out. There were a lot of people helping our effort and we
appreciate everyone's help!

Lots of event photos will be posted on the website shortly. Please
