Owen Democrat Team Raises Over $1,200 For Relay For Life |

The Owen County Democrats have raised over $1,200 for the American Cancer Society in their first year participating as a team in the Relay For Life. The Relay supports the American Cancer Society and the event was held at the Owen Valley High School track & football field on May 31st. Kathy Dyar, Melanie Highes, and Debbie Foutch were the Relay For Life Team Committee members for our party. They, along with many many helpers, had made our first team year a great success! A full report of the event will be given at our next central committee meeting on June 19th! Many thanks go to those who walked, raised money, managed our booth, and helped our team. |
