Democrats Participate in Loyalty Parade |

The Owen County Democrats participated in the 2003 VFW Loyalty Parade in Spencer on Saturday, May the 3rd. A patriotic float was filled with Democrat officals and supporters throwing candy to many onlookers. The parade was sponsored by the VFW and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Many thanks go to Dwight Dunigan for providing the truck and trailer and Lowell Simpson for the hay to sit on. Several people helped with decorations and many thanks go to those who took time out of their Saturday afternoon to ride with us. They are: Verl Nicholson, Liz Shields, Darin Crum, Tony Neff, Victoria Neff, Barbara Taylor, Richard Norman, Kirstin Norman, Anton Neff, Shannon Lock, Phyllis Tucker, Gib Tucker, Barbara Dunigan, and Harley Melton. |
