Anton K. Neff has served as Owen County's Democrat Party Chairman since March of 2001. He is raised and educated in Owen County and is employed with Bloomington Insurance Agency as an insurance agent. He currently represents the town of Spencer and Washington Township as a County Councilman for District Two. He is the Council’s appointment to the Owen County Plan Commission. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Spencer Lion's Club and serves as a member of the scholarship committee, and chairman of the Liberty Day and Apple Butter Festival King/Queen Contest committees. He also supports the Owen Valley Middle School athletic program by volunteering as the game book-keeper and announcer. He is also a member of the Owen County Preservations Group and the Owen County Historical & Genealogical Society. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, working outside, renovating his family's old home, and going on Sunday afternoon drives. He is married to Shannon Lock of Madison, Indiana. She is an instructional assistant at Spencer Elementary School.
