My husband Tony and I, along with our almost three year old son Eddie moved to Owen County in June of 1990. Our second son, Anthony was born in November of the same year. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to raise my children here in Owen County . We currently live in Spencer. We share our home with Aaron (Eddie's best friend) and Dancer, our dog. My first priority has always been my children. I also feel it's important to be active in the community service. Since moving to Owen County, I have worked as a volunteer in the Spencer Elementary school library, with the After School Drug Prevention Program, and as a Crisis Intervention Counselor. I have also served on the Board of Directors for the South Central Community Action Program, assistant 4-H leader, and as both Secretary and President with Friends of the Owen County Public Library. My family and I are actively involved with the Owen County 4-H Fishing Team, and the Owen Valley FFA. In the spring of 1998, I became a substitute teacher with the Spencer-Owen Community School Cooperation, until May of 2001 when I came to my current employment with the Owen County Recorder's office. I have enjoyed working with the Owen County Democratic Party and look forward to many years of continued service to my community.
